The EXMICRO2iSW is the latest extender in the EXMICRO line that adds a two input switch on the TX and an audio breakout at the RX.  Like the EXMICRO2i, the EXMICRO2iSW extender supports 4K/UHD/1080p up to 50m/164ft. on Cat6/6A, has EDID, 2-Way 12V IR that is control system compatible and powers from one end (either).

The EXMICRO2iSW is perfect when you want to extend more than one source to your display.  The two input switch (controllable with IR) allows you to choose and control the source from the RX end.  It extends either 4K/UHD or 1080p HDMI signals up to 50m/164ft, and supports the entire HDMI 2.0b format including HDR and HDR+.  The extender kit only requires power from one end (either) and has a 2-Way 12V IR kit included (one TX and one RX).  There is also an innovative EDID circuit that allows the EDID to be overridden to solve incompatibilities with display and source(s).  The RX portion has an optical audio breakout for a local amplifier or soundbar.  In addition, this technology is more efficient than most only drawing about 1/3 the power (3.84W) of a typical extender set similar to its abilities.  It is a switch, an extender and is small, versatile, efficient, and effective.
