8x8 HDMI 2.0b (18Gbps) Scaling Matrix
The M88SL is a Scaling HDMI 2.0b (18Gbps) 8 x 8 HDMI and HDBaseT matrix. There are eight HDMI inputs for 8 sources and there are 8 outputs that feature parallel HDMI and HDBaseT outputs. 8 HDBaseT receivers are optional and come in packs of 1 or 4 (SLRX-1 or SLRX-4). Each output can individually scale. The HDMI output can be set to a different resolution than the HDBaseT output on the same output channel. The HDBaseT output will transmit 1080p up to 150m/492ft. and UHD/4K content up to 120m/394ft.
The M88SL is designed to be used as a HDMI to HDMI matrix and/or used with the optional long distance receivers. The 120m/394ft. receivers are an optional purchase. There are stereo and coaxial audio breakout on each zone output that breaks the audio out of that specific zone. The M88SL also supports individual bi-directional 12V IR and RS232 by output via the optional RX devices. In addition, there is a 3.5mm mini and an optical output on the optional RX as well for soundbars and other audio devices.
The M88SL can be controlled via the LED front panel and buttons manually, with the supplied IR remote control, via the web GUI, or from a third-party control system via IR, RS232, or LAN connection.
