The EXTDA is a 100m/330ft. digital audio extender that extends optical and/or RCA Analog formats over Cat6A/6* cable
The EXTDA has an optical S/PDIF input and a pair of RCA inputs at the transmitter. The signal can be transmitted up to 100m/330ft. at full bandwidth (192kHz.). Distances up to 300m/984ft. can be achieved by lowering the sampling rate. The EXTDA can send both optical and RCA analog signals simultaneously. The digital audio can be extracted at the RX in an analog format by selecting the TV/Optical switch (display audio has to be set to PCM). The EXTDA is compact and powers from either end via a Micro USB port. *Cat5e may be used, but some loss of distance may occur.
